John Avrohm Ketcher, or "Ave" to his family and friends, was born on October 17th, 1976 in Pocatello, ID, the son of John Allen and Sandra Coleen (Clark) Ketcher. Ave graduated with his associates degree from Montgomery County Junior College in Maryland. Ave worked for Quiznos as a Manager. When he wasn't working, Ave loved to spend his time practicing karate. He absolutely loved music. He played guitar, wrote music and was a member of a band in Maryland. Ave possessed a wry sense of humor and had a keen sense of fun, sharpening wits with anyone that was willing. Beneath it all was a teddy bear, big of heart and sweet in disposition. He had a smile that made anyone feel easy. A Catholic by faith, Ave attended St. Peter and Paul Church in Cushing, OK. Ave was called to his heavenly home on Friday, February 24th, 2012 in Tulsa, OK. He was 35 years old. Ave will be greatly missed by his family and friends for the laughter he shared and the love he gave.
Those left to cherish Ave's memory include his mother, Sandra Ketcher of Welling, OK, and his father, John Ketcher of Tahlequah. He also leaves one half brother, Erin Ketcher of Tahlequqh and one half sister, Andrea Ketcher also of Tahlequah,OK. Ave also leaves an adopted brother, Dave Baylor, as well as many cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
