In the early years, Jack and I had a delicious love/hate relationship. We both wanted Julie...he won out and made a truce to let me be second best, sister-in-law and most frequent guest. As we each mellowed over the years, our respect and love mellowed too. Julie, I am so honored to have been a small part of his life, and to have seen how his love for you endures forever. Mary L.

LeBlanc Family,
I always loved seeing Grandpa LeBlanc at regattas- he was a true inspiration to all the rowers who had the privilege to meet him. Having him share his rowing history and insight with me always brought a smile to my face. I am sure he will be on the shore with us at every future regatta and that he's back in a shell up in heaven.
My thoughts are with your family,
Kacie

Dear LeBlanc Family,
Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Pip was "one of a kind" and we have been blessed to have known him and to have loved him. He is the epitome of what every loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend should be. He had the ability to light up any room that he entered with a contagious smile and hilarious joke. He captured the hearts of so many! Take comfort in the fond memories that were shared and strive to live out his legacy- faith and family first. May you find strength at the backdoor when you need it...May you have courage in your pocket so you know where to find it...May you carry mustard seed faith in your heart to sustain you today, tomorrow and always. You are in our thoughts and prayers...

Jack was a great friend. We have lost a great man. In my time with St. Mary's Crew, I recognized true friendship. His humour, kindness and generosity spread to everyone he touched. Jack, Julia and their family always welcomed friends, new and old, into their home, and made them feel part of their clan.
There is never a day when I don't have a fond memory of my time at St. Mary's and my friendship with Jack.
I will miss him,

My sympathies to the Leblanc family. Coach Leblanc spotted me on the basketball court in 1986, a tall very unathletic kid with low confidence. He convinced me to come out and try rowing. Getting into the sport had an immeasureable impact on my life's direction. What a great and happy man! Thanks Laddie! Rest in peace!

My condolences to the LeBlanc Family on the passing of Jack. Jack's directions and humor touched so many young men's lives, like my own, and gave us precious memories, and lessons that will last our lifetimes. “Lets pick it up boys, now give me 10, come on four man”. “I love you guys”. We loved you too Jack.

I have known the LeBlanc family almost my whole life. Pipi and Mimi are at the center of one of the nicest, kindest, funniest, most beautiful group of people on the planet. They started several generations of wonderful humans and should be eternally proud of themselves. We are all better people for having a LeBlanc in our life.

Nancy, our friendship goes all the way back to the 3rd grade at St. Pat's. That's over 50 years of friendship and 50 years of memories which include your dad! His keen sense of humor, his warmth and his ability to make everyone feel like extended family will always be remembered. I'll always cherish the memories and especially the night at the farm when we drew caricatures of each other. On behalf of Milan, my mom and the entire Knight family we send our heartfelt condolences to you, George, your mom and all the Le Blanc family. God bless you all.

I looked at every one of the 350 pictures and they were just a part of the great legacy he leaves behind. God bless you all. Love, Kendal (Sharkey) Kiner

Dear Aunt Julie and Family - Uncle Larry and Uncle Jim, as well.
Having Uncle Jack pass on touches us all deeply. I can't remember a time I saw him that he didn't come right up to me - usually having something funny to say. That's putting it mildly! Each joke seemed specially tailored to the receiver and
always brought laughter. Thanks, Uncle Jack.
Love, Pam
Your Eldest (ouch) niece.

y deepest sympathies and condolences with the loss of Jack. May God be with you in this time of sorrow.
Of course even bad news brings forth some fond memories. With me, they are of the times spent at the Ecorse Boat Club with Jack and Jim and a bit with Reggie. With the long practices, the regattas and trips to St. Kits, the high school memories are forever. It was a pleasure to hear that Jack carried on with crew development. It is a great way to understand teamwork and group effort

You lived life right Sir. An inspiration to all fathers and husbands who knew you. Your spontaneous rendition of the Lord's Prayer with acoustic guitar in hand at my dinner table in Hawaii was CLASSIC! I can still hear your voice booming from the bleachers at WTHS- "Put in Belknap" Thank you for everything. I already miss you. Please say hello to my dad in heaven for me. With Love and gratitude-Steve

We will remember my Uncle Jack forever. He loved to tease the kids and tell jokes as well as scary stories around the camp fire. We always looked forward to holidays with him along with Aunt Julie and all of our cousins. I remember him being outside doing something around the yard, grilling on the deck or rowing on the lake. He left a legacy of love and family......You will be missed.... We'll see you in heaven Uncle Jack!
