John "Muggs" Miskinis Jr.

July 15, 1946 - September 16, 2013

John "Muggs" Miskinis, Jr., 67, of Manasquan passed away on Monday September 16th, 2013. Born in Paterson, NJ, he resided in Manalapan and Brick prior to moving to Manasquan in 1973. John was a Navy Veteran serving from 1964 to 1970 and was a member of the VFW Post 1838 in Manasquan and the Elks Lodge 2534. He was also the Past President of the Jersey Shore Golf Club. John was predeceased by his parents John T. Sr. and Ruth Miskinis and brother Robert Miskinis. Surviving are his sister Gail and husband Al Demange of Fountain Hills, AZ and many loving friends. Visitation will be Saturday September 21st, 2013 from 2-5pm at the Neary-Quinn Funeral Home, 39 South Street, Manasquan, NJ 08736. A Funeral Service will be offered at 4:30pm during visitation. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a Veteran's Organization of your choice.
