Obituary

John D. Popovich, 60, beloved brother of Antonette "Toni" (Mike) Monahan; loving son of the late Nick and Ljeposava "Sophie" Popovich; also survived by many more family and friends, both here and in Livno, Bosnia. Funeral Saturday 10:45 AM from Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn to St. John Fisher Church. Mass 11:30 AM. Interment Private. Visitation Friday 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. John was a Graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago, an expert chess player. He volunteered at Little Company of Mary Hospital and the Salvation Army.
