Sharon (Blondie), I'm sorry to hear of John's passing, news doesn't travel fast out this way. I could fill up 3 pages here remembering the good times I had with John, always cheerful, a fine gentleman and a one of a kind party animal. He will be missed by many. Ride in Peace my friend, we'll see you on the other side (with scotch).

My deepest condolences to my good friend Maureen and the entire Raniere family. Going back many years to the "old neighborhood," my late husband, Joe Morelli, knew the family quite well. John fought a great battle and will be remembered for his courage during his illness and, of course, his smile. He is now at peace. Nancy Morelli and Family.

Dear Sharon,
Words cannot begin to express my feelings regarding John's death. I am so very sorry for your great loss of your love, your friend, your companion, your completion John has always been such a wonderful man to his children and friends and his loss will be felt by so many. John was always there to cheer others and make their recoveries less painful. John was virtually the first person to welcome me into the family with a special, unforgettable toast. Even when he lost his legs, his humor prevailed. Sharon, you are responsible for much of the happiness that John has had since you met. His love for you and your love and devotion for him have always been evident.
John's pain is gone and the pain of friends and family emerges....but John was not a man to dwell on pain. John wanted to have a good time. I am hoping that all will have a good time in his honor and mourn him in the way he lived his life, by sharing joy with others. Bless you, Sharon, for the love that you bestowed upon and shared with John for all these years. That love and your memories will always be alive in your heart and mind. I am sorry that I cannot be there with you to toast John's life and your mutual love and respect for each other. Gabe and Carly will represent Biff and I with great gusto and sincerity.
Love,
Steve

My dearest big brother John, I'm waiting for my train to leave to bring me home to say "see you later" to you. You always wanted to take this cross country train trip with me. You will be with me with every turn of the wheel on this trip and with every step I take from here on in.
You will be missed terribly but as we each recall your infectious smile and your deep love of life we will be inspired by you. You fought hard to stay with us and we know that you will be watching over us with the same strength. I love you with all my heart. Kate :-)
