Friend

John F Floyd

Johnny and I were childhood buddies in East Gadsden. We parted ways when I left Gadsden in 1968. Until I read his obituary I had no idea of Johnny’s illustrious career. He truly lived a wonderful and blessed life. I will never forget his home on Hoke Street or his Dad’s shoe shop across the street. His father was a great and wonderful hard working man who kept my rag tag shoes wearable. I remember Johnny as being a kind and gentle person with great integrity. I am totally and wonderfully impressed by his curriculum vitae.
Most of all, he was a good man.
