JOHN F. " POSTY" Santillo, 91, passed away March 16, 2012 at Elmhurst Extended Care. Born in North Providence, he was the son of the late Lorenzo and Antonetta (Santillo) Santillo. He was the brother of Lawrence Santillo and the late Nicholas, Joseph, Hugo and Louis Santillo; uncle of Donna Ingala, Joann Nelson, John, Michael and Lawrence Santillo; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. John had served in the US Army during WWll. He was a laborer for the State of Rhode Island before retiring. He was the brother of Lawrence Santillo and the late Nicholas, Joseph, Hugo and Louis Santillo; uncle of Donna Ingala, Joann Nelson, John, Michael and Lawrence Santillo; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation and funeral will be held on Tuesday, 8:30-9:30 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Road, Johnston. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
