Weyrauch, John Adam III age 82 of Kettering passed away Thursday May 8, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents John Adam Weyrauch II and Mary Ann Weyrauch; his first wife Marilyn Ann ( nee Durst) in November 1961 and a niece Deann Weyrauch . Survivors include his current wife Barbara Ann (nee Rose) since December 1, 1962; children, Richard and his wife Diane, John IV and his wife Shirley, James and his wife Sherrie, and Cathy Tucker and her husband Randy; grandchildren, Adam Weyrauch, Jeffrey Weyrauch, Jacob (Elise) Weyrauch, Daniel Weyrauch, Louis Weyrauch, Kaitlin (Casey) Ryan, Megan Weyrauch; great grandsons, Jadon and Jackson;...
Weyrauch, John Adam III age 82 of Kettering passed away Thursday May 8, 2014. Survivors include his current wife Barbara Ann (nee Rose) since December 1, 1962; children, Richard and his wife Diane, John IV and his wife Shirley, James and his wife Sherrie, and Cathy Tucker and her husband Randy; grandchildren, Adam Weyrauch, Jeffrey Weyrauch, Jacob (Elise) Weyrauch, Daniel Weyrauch, Louis Weyrauch, Kaitlin (Casey) Ryan, Megan Weyrauch; great grandsons, Jadon and Jackson; a brother, Charles Weyrauch and his wife Dorothy; 2 nieces, Debra Weyrauch and Donna (Craig) Millett ; 2 nephews, Scot (Donetta) Weyrauch and Skip (Bonnie) Weyrauch; 4 great nieces and 5 great nephews. He was born July 4, 1931 in Cincinnati to John Adam Weyrauch II and Mary Ann Weyrauch. A 1949 graduate of Wilbur Wright High School, graduated from the Ohio Northern University School of Pharmacy in June of 1953 with a Bachelors in Pharmacy, and later served in the U. S. Army from October 16, 1953 –October 15, 1955. John worked at Schmidt's Drugs for approximately 5 years, (including internship), and then joined Fidelity Prescriptions in November 1955 (later became Medicine Shoppe) until his retirement in September 1997, but continued to work on a part-time basis at various pharmacies during retirement. He was a member of the Miami Valley Pharmaceutical Association, Ohio State Pharmaceutical Association, and American Pharmaceutical Association. A member of the Kettering Civic Band for 4 years, he traveled to Austria in 1980 with the band. He was a member of Oak Street EUB from 1955 until 1965 and Church of the Cross since 1965, and a member of the choir for many years. John was Past Master, Secretary, and Endowed Member of Far Hills Lodge #784 (formerly Rock Moriah Lodge # 740),Charter Member of Millennium # 779 F. & A.M., Past High Priest, Secretary, and Life Member of Unity Chapter #16 R.A.M., Past High Priest and Secretary of the former Tau Chapter #239 R.A.M., Past Illustrious Master, Recorder, and Life Member of Reese Council #9 R. & S.M., Secretary and Life Member of Irish Council #67 Knight Masons USA, Secretary of Herbert T. Leland Council #281 Allied Masonic Degrees, Past Commander and Life Member of Valley Commandry #80 K.T., Recorder and Life Member of Reed Commandry #6 K.T., Recorder of Dayton Commandry #68, Past Secretary of Council for Templar Advancement, Past Secretary and Life Member , Knight Eminent Commanders Association, Life Member Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Dayton, member of the Order of Eastern Star, Belmont Chapter #555 and Past Patron of Far Hills Chapter #577, Life Sponsor and Patron Knights Templar Eye Foundation, Knight York Cross of Honor, Ohio Priory#18, Ohio Grand Council Order of High Priesthood, Quatuor Coronati Lodge #2076 Correspondence Circle of London, England, Mariners Club, York Rite Secretaries and Recorders Association of Ohio, Secretaries Association F. & A.M. of Ohio, A.A.O.N.M.S. Antioch Temple, Order of the Silver Trowel. Funeral Service 10 am Wednesday May 14, 2014 at the Tobias Funeral Home-Far Hills Chapel, 5471 Far Hills Ave at Rahn Rd. Pastor John Whitaker officiating. Interment Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home with Masonic Services at 7:30 pm.
