Johnetta Campbell was born July 4, 1949 in Los Angeles, California to John W. Simbler and Clarissa Mae Bryant Simbler, who preceded her in death. Johnetta attended Dominguez High School, graduating class of 1967.
Johnetta worked as a dental assistant, and later changed her career to become an artist/designer, holding two Associate Degrees in Liberal Arts and Fashion Design. Johnetta later opened her own business “Johnetta Designs” where she created and designed unique jewelry and created pieces of art.
She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory, her husband, Franklyn D. Campbell, her three sisters, Bonda Jean Compton of Beaumont, Texas and (Brother-in-Law, Lionel Compton) Barbara Simbler, of Hawthorne, California and Greta Renee Simbler, of Long Beach, California. Brother-In-Law, Robert Campbell and wife Janet. Aunt Jennie V. Armstong of Houston, Texas, Uncle Lowell E. Arnold of Inglewood, California, four nieces, five great nieces, one nephew, five great newphews and a host of cousins, friends and work associates.
