I was in fifth grade with Johnny. I fell in love with him then. He was handsome, polite, smart, and funny. Years later, I met up with him. He was still the same. And then many years after, I saw him again. We picked up in our conversation where we had left off. He was a sweet, sweet man.

So sorry about you Dad Johnnie. I only met him once, but seemed like a very nice man. May God be with you and Kristen and all the family. I love you both.

Well Dad...its Sunday evening and I know that tomorrow will be a very hard day for me. You have been in my thoughts all day today. I have been trying to think of some "special" things to say tomorrow and I know that there isn't enough time in a day to express how much you meant to me. I was so fortunate to have such a young father, as you really were more like a big brother to me. We did everything together and I reflect back on those memories and they are priceless. Dad...I love you and Im going to miss you more than words can say...but I know that you are pain free now and in that beautiful mountain ranch that you always wanted. Remember the one you spoke of...with a stream full of fish...deer and elk in your backyard. I know how you loved to sit on that porch...now just enjoy what God has prepared for you specifically. Dad...Im going to let you go for now...keep an eye on Sophia and know that I love you more than words can say. Until we meet again ... keep that bright smile burning in our hearts and memories. I will never forget the memories that we shared as they are etched on my heart forever. Love you Dad....

So sad about Johnnie. I know he is in a wonderful peaceful place with the Lord. He was always such a handsome guy with movie star good looks a beautiful smile with sparkling eyes, curly hair but more enchanting was he had such a precious pure heart he always had kind words to make you feel special. I remember once Aunt Evelyn said he was upset with her because she had invited my brother to dinner & didn't invite me and of course she did invite me he just didn't know it at the time but I always thought that was so kind. I pray his family is covered with the love and peace of the Lord.
