Jonathon Raymond Fischer, 22, of Ormond Beach, FL passed away suddenly on Monday, July 1, 2013 in a car accident in South Carolina. Jon was born on July 29, 1990 in Deland, FL to his parents, Kathleen and Henry Fischer. He is a graduate of Father Lopez Catholic High School and was attending the University of Florida expecting to graduate this December with a degree in Agriculture/Business Management. Jon was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and sports, particularly football and basketball. He is a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Jon will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Raymond Kelly, uncle, John J. Kelly, and cousin, Johnny Kelly. He is survived by his parents, Kathleen and Henry Fischer; brother, Michael H. Fischer; sister, Lauren E. Fischer; several aunts and uncles: Mary and Sandy Miller, Raymond and Carmela Kelly, Nancy Hammond, Carrol and Timothy Mercer, Christine Fugarazzo, Diane Rich; cousins: Dan, Meghan, Sarah, Kevin, Brian, Jeremy, Joey, Amanda, Kathy, Jason, Kristine, Dan, Tim, Becky, Nick, Emily, Nelson, Ryan and Emma; grandparents, Heinrich and Emmy Fischer; grandmother, Elizabeth Kelly. A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, July 8, 2013 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 600 S Nova Rd., Ormond Beach, FL at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Father Lopez Catholic High School Weight Room Fund. Condolences may be shared with the family online at www.volusiamemorialfunerals.com.
