Jonathan Bryce Somerset of Charlotte, NC died of a sudden death on November 26th , 2016. Jonathan loved and lived life to the fullest! He loved his family, friends and most important, the after-school children at McAlpine Elementary. Jonathan was an employee of CMS while working his way through college towards a degree in Network Administration. Completing his classes in April of 2017 would have completed his certifications needed. Jonathan was a graduate of South Mecklenburg High School "Class 2012".

Jonathan was a loving son, grandson, brother and last week became an uncle. Those left to celebrate his life are his mother and stepfather Laura and Blaine Haggie, father Terry Somerset, Brothers Christopher, Nicholas, & Jacob Somerset, Sister-in-law Lauren Somerset, Sisters -Catherine Browning & Danielle Somerset, Nephew Cameron Somerset. Jonathan live with his grandparents Jonathan and Mary White. Jonathan is also survived by his Grandmother Brenda Somerset, a great grandmother Catherine Jones, Uncles - George E and Jack D Jones. Aunts - Clara A Jones" Sissy", Barbara McMillian, Susie Allen, Holly White and uncles Timothy Somerset and Jon White. Special Thanks to the Banks family, and all of Jonathan's family and friends for their contributions

As we approach the one year anniversary of your death I think about and miss you so much. You have left such a void in our family. Everyone says that everything gets easier after the "year of firsts." It doesn't. There is an absence in our family gatherings. I still don't understand why God chose you - but I have to believe it was for good reason. My dear sweet cousin - I love you and I miss you so much. Continue to watch over our family and keep us safe. Fly high sweet boy!! I love you!!

It has been a few days since you left our family. We all miss the amazing son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin you were to us. We all loved you as much as you loved us.
