Obituary

Jonathan "Jonny" W. Bremer, 33 of New Braunfels, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2013. Jonny was born to Jack Daniel Bremer and Cynthia (Hollenshead) Bremer in San Marcos Texas on May 26, 1980. He graduated from New Braunfels High School Class of 1998 and later earned his Associates Degree from Eastern New Mexico State University. He proudly served in the United States Army and was a freelance writer and journalist. Jonny is survived by his parents, Dan and Sheryl Bremer of New Braunfels; brother, Jacob Bremer of New Braunfels; grandparents, Jack and Laurice Bremer of Ruidoso, New Mexico; June Hollenshead of El Paso, Texas and Jerry...

Jonny is survived by his parents, Dan and Sheryl Bremer of New Braunfels; brother, Jacob Bremer of New Braunfels; grandparents, Jack and Laurice Bremer of Ruidoso, New Mexico; June Hollenshead of El Paso, Texas and Jerry and Ruth Murphey of Corpus Christi, TX; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia Bremer; and grandfather, Tom Hollenshead.
Public Visitation will begin 4:00 PM Thursday at the Zoeller Funeral Home and will continue until 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, October 4, 2013 at Zoeller Funeral Home with Reverend Don Somerville officiating. Memorial contributions may be given in his name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
