Jose Angel Casarez, 89, of Odessa passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016 in Odessa. He was born August 2, 1927 in Valentine, TX to Jose and Maria Tarin Casarez. He was a retired mechanic for McGuire Industries. He married Socorro Garcia January 14, 1949 in Big Spring, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Angel Casarez, and sister Trinidad Rios.
He is survived by his wife Socorro G. Casarez, daughter, Amparo Rodriguez and husband Medardo of Odessa, TX sons, Gabriel Casarez and wife Delores of El Paso, TX and Arturo Casarez and wife Sulema of Magnolia, TX, 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Nieces, Margarta Fierro of Ft. Stockton, TX Josie Ramirez of Alpine and Juanita Castrejon and husband Blas of Midland, TX.
Visitation will be from 1pm to 9pm Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Odessa Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 1pm Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.
Interment will follow at Ector County Cemetery~Peaceful Gardens.
Services are entrusted to Odessa Funeral Home.
