Joe, 83, of Kansas City, MO passed away on January 6, 2018. Joe was born in Penn, PA to Joe and Tillie Bushyager on June 15, 1934. He was a 1952 graduate of Jeannette, PA High School and then proudly served 2 years in the US Army. On Oct. 3, 1955 he married Virginia Crimbly and in 1957 relocated to KC, MO. In 1962, with friend Ron Woody, they opened North Hills Linoleum and Tile. Joe was a talented craftsman; he retired in 1995. Joe was an avid golfer and he loved to hunt and fish. He was a great family man, always putting his family first.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Virginia; his 3 daughters, Lori Bushyager of Key West, FL, Kim Bushyager Linneen of KC, MO, and Janette (Eric) Campbell of Raleigh, NC; sister, Rita Neal of Elyria, OH; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Christopher) Alford of Whitewater, WI, Kristina (John) Drukker of Holt, MO, Tillie Campbell of Raleigh, NC, and Lucy Campbell of Raleigh, NC; great grandchildren, Caitlin and Jackson Alford of Whitewater, WI; many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 9 AM Friday Jan. 12, 2018 at St Charles Catholic Church (900 NE Shady Ln. KC, MO 64118) Burial at Resurrection Cemetery North. Memorials are suggested to Children’s Mercy Hospital.
