Joseph J Roberts 72, of Kingsville, Maryland passed away peacefully on May 14, 2017 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Pamela, his children, Marci and Michael Hare, Michelle and Eric Wentworth, Meredith and Kevin Mowry, his grandchildren Brooke and Paige Hare, Makayla and Luke Wentworth, Olivia Cole and Dominic and Mason Mowry, his brother and wife Dennis and Sandi Roberts, and many brother and sister in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Jean Roberts. Joe was a 1964 graduate of Calvert Hall College,1969 graduate of University of Baltimore and received his Master's Degree in 1974 from Morgan State College. Joe retired in 2013 after a 48- year career in the financial markets, mostly in the municipal bond industry. Joe was dedicated to his profession and along the way many of his business associates became lifelong friends. Joe was an avid golfer and was very passionate and supportive of his alma mater CHC, and demonstrated a strong devotion to the University of Notre Dame and the Fighting Irish. Joe will be missed by many as he was a man of honesty and generosity and truly devoted to his family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, 610 W. MacPhail Road, Bel Air, on Monday May 22nd from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. The family will hold a Memorial Mass and Celebration of Life on Tuesday, May 23, 2017. The Memorial Mass will be held at Saint Margaret's Church at 4:00pm with the Celebration of Joe's life immediately following at Maryland Golf & Country Club. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to University of Maryland Division of Transplantation www.ummsfoundation.org
