I was saddened to learn of Joe's passing. He was a good man. I knew Joe through the NOPD Reserve Division. He and I patrolled the streets of NO many nights. I passed his house the other day and now wished I had stopped to visit.
My condolences go out to all his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
Sincerely, Fred Hardie.
