To the Ainsworth Family,
You are in my thoughts and prayer in this time of loss. May fond memories ease your pain. The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo won't be the same without Dr. Joe around.

He was our family doctor and a friend. He delivered 4 of our children. He was of great help when we came to Houston in 1955. Our deepest sympathy to his family.

Dr Ainsworth was a great and compassionate doctor. He was my doctor many years ago. They don't make many like him anymore. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

My deepest condolences to the Ainsworth family. I use to cut Dr. Joe and son Michael's hair many years ago. Dr. Joe was a very good man. May he rest in Peace.

Dear Family and Friends,
Dr. Joe was the kindest man with the most gentle and compassionate manner. He was brilliant but showed so much humility. He made the world a better place for all of us. I will always remember his kind and considerate manners of a true southern gentleman. His handshake was soft with the firmness of geniune respect for his fellow man. Dr. Joe was a mentor to many and should be the pattern for all to strive for in life. God Speed Joe and May God Bless Your Family and Friends.

He was a fine Man. He was our family Doctor when I was a little kid. His office was on lawndale or close. I'm 60 now & often thought of Him.

I adored Dr. Joe. I had the privilege to work with him @MDACC in his role as VP for Patient Care & learned so much from him. He was truly a caring person, highly respected and one of the last "true gentlemen" I have known. Please know my thoughts & prayers are with Dr. Ainsworth's family but he is with his beautiful bride Gene and looking down on his wonderful family.
