Joseph F. Christie, 57 of Huntington passed away at 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at his residence. He worked as a truck driver and also worked in various factories in the area while living in Huntington.

Joseph was born on September 4, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan, a son of David Adam and Jean Anne (Johnston) Christie, Sr.

Survivors include two sons: Dustin Christie of MI; Nicholas Christie of MI; a daughter: Heather Wilson of Howard City, MI; two stepdaughters: Nicole Davis of Knoxville, TN; Alisha Dolby of Huntington; three brothers: David Christie, Jr. of MI; James Christie of TN; Robert Christie of TX; three sisters: Helen Hollis of TN; Darlene Hewitt of TN and Mildred Spicer of MI.

He was preceded in death by his parents: David and Jean Anne Christie, Sr.

There will be no visitation or funeral service.

Interment will take place at a later date in Michigan.
