Joseph J. Foretich, 83, passed away Friday January 29, 2010. He was a resident of Central, who retired after 35 years with Foretich Zimmer Construction and was also a flight instructor in the Baton Rouge area. A U. S. Navy veteran of WWII, a member of Open Bible Fellowship Church and then Greenwell Springs Baptist Church.
The visitation and funeral service will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. and on Monday from 9 a.m. till time of services at 10 a.m. conducted by Pastor Danny Landry. Burial will be in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Dr. Edmond Spiller, Jackie Spiller, Lindsey Spiller, Clint Anderson, Adolph Peterson and Baxter Birch.
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen D. Foretich; 4 daughters, Mary Stafford and husband Noah, Kathy Jo Young and husband Richard, Becky Jane Padgett and Suzanna Foretich; 2 sons, Paul Foretich and wife Glenda, and Donald Foretich and wife Haley; a sister, Marjorie Spiller; a brother, Leo Lindsey Foretich; also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph S. and Louise Foretich and 1 grandchild.
