Rest in peace to a wonderful Great Uncle who was like a Grandfather to me after mine(his brother) passed away. I will miss all the laughs we had with each other but those are memories I will cherish for the rest of my life. I will miss going to your house and you coming to mine and greeting me by saying "Hello love." That always made me feel great and happy. Well now you're with your parents and some of your brothers and sister again. I will take care of Aunt Cathy and Uncle Robert for you. I love you Uncle Joe! May you rest in peace forever.

I am so saddened at the loss of Uncle Joe. He was a great, funny and kind man. I have so many happy memories of him while growing up and he was such a big part of our family. He certainly always made everyone smile when he entered a room. Our only disagreements occurred while discussing the Mets and Yankees!!!! May Uncle Joe rest in peace. He is now with Jesus and his heavenly family. Love you Uncle Joe!!! Love your niece, Donna McAdam Shoemaker
