Joe was born July 13, 1943 in California and moved to Missouri with his mom, Josephine Yarbrough and siblings. He graduated high school and worked as a printer for a time before he was called to serve in the Army. After his service, Joe returned to KC and worked as a printer, then as a Police officer for KCK for 27 years. He retired and then worked as a security guard before he decided he much preferred traveling. Joe was a member of the F.O.P. in KCK and he had a very generous heart. He would give you the shirt off his back and was known for taking care of any stray animals that crossed his yard. Joe loved restoring cars and would never miss a Nascar race.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Kathy Yarbrough and his wife, Nan Yarbrough. He leaves his first wife, Joan Reynolds, and his good friends Janet and Richard Hunt and their family as well as many other friends to cherish his memory.
