Josephine Mae Gass, 88 of Lebanon passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014 in her residence. She was the wife of the late Harry T. Gass. She was born in Lebanon on September 9, 1925, daughter of the late Harry E. and Emma L. White Weddle. She worked several years at the former Brooks Bologna. Josephine was a member of the former Chemical Fire Co. Ladies Aux. and was a member of the First Evangelical Congregational Church in Lebanon. She enjoyed traveling particularly to Florida to visit her family. Josephine Mae Gass, 88 of Lebanon passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014 in her residence. She was the wife of the late Harry T. Gass. She was born in Lebanon on September 9, 1925, daughter of the late Harry E. and Emma L. White Weddle. She worked several years at the former Brooks Bologna. Josephine was a member of the former Chemical Fire Co. Ladies Aux. and was a member of the First Evangelical Congregational Church in Lebanon. She enjoyed traveling particularly to Florida to visit her family. She is survived by her daughters: Judith Bomberger, Richland; Earlene Long, Lebanon; Patricia wife of Charles Williams, Lebanon; son: Joseph Heberling, Casselberry, FL; sister: Frances Pond, Lebanon; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her brother Harry Weddle Sr. and sister Geraldine Camasta. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon where a viewing will be held from 9:00 am until time of the service. Interment will be made in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville with Randy Bomberger, John Bomberger, Bradley Fields, Nathan Fields, Joseph Heberling, Kane Bouchard and Coby Long serving as pallbearers. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Fred Weddle and Charles Williams. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the , 3544 N. Progress Ave., suite 202, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
