A resident of Baton Rouge, she passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospice Carpenter House. She was 75 years old. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, La., on Tuesday , October 18, 2016 beginning at 12pm until funeral service at 2pm. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Josie is survived by her mother, Mary Vince; three daughters and sons in law, Jeannie and Allen Courville, Mary and Steve Morris, Debbie and Scott Garretson; son and daughter in law, Billy and Diane Michelli; nine grandchildren, Chris and Kellie Courville, Kristin Allen, Blake and Brandon Morris, Jacob and Brandon Garretson, Anthony and Isabella Michelli; ten great grandchildren and four brothers. A very special niece Jodi Shaffett Scott. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kelly J. Michelli; and father, Pete Vince. Pallbearers will be son, grandsons, and son in laws. The family wishes to thank everyone for all the many prayers and support through the years. Special thanks to Dr. Spell, caregivers at the Carpenter House and special thanks to Hospice nurse, Clarissa. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cancer Services of G.B.R., 550 Lobdell Ave. Baton Rouge, LA. 70806. Condolences are welcome at www.greenoaksfunerals.com.
