Joyce L Eckhoff, 84, passed away Monday, August 13, 2012 at a local hospital. Visitation for friends will be on Wednesday the 15th from 6 to 7:30 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home. Graveside funeral service will be held at 10 am, Thursday, August 15 at Resthaven Memorial Park with Rev. David Wilson officiating. Joyce was born on June 15, 1928 in Trent, Texas to Henry and Birdie (Pomroy) Wilson. She attended and graduated from Trent High School. She attended business school in Abilene.
She married Earl Eckhoff on August 18, 1974. He preceded her in death in October of 2001. Prior to his death they loved to travel and see the world.
She was employed as a secretary at Reese AFB for many years. After retirement she was employed with Collins Real Estate as a realtor. She was a longtime member of Southcrest Baptist Church and is survived by her loving friends and church family.
