Joyce R. Wright, 81, of Merritt Island, FL passed away Sunday, March 29, 2014. A native of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Joyce moved to Florida in 1981 from Kansas City.
She was very much involved in an organization Grandparents Raising Grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Francis David Wright of Merritt Island; son, Roger(Lisa) Wright of Edgewater, FL; four daughters: Alena Cain of Missouri, Sherri Williams of FL, Linda(Ronnie) Burkette of FL, and Sandra AuClair of FL; brother, Paul Holliday of FL; sister, and Susan Sisco of Kansas; eight grandchildren: Aaron, Cedric, Braisen, Jennifer, Sarah, Cory, Roger, and Tyler; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visition will be held Saturday, April 4, 2015, from 10:30AM to 11:30AM at Wylie-Baxley Merritt Island Funeral Home, with a service at 11:30AM. Interment will follow at Brevard Memorial Park.
