Friends it is with such incredible sadness that we announce the passing of Joyce Ablett on January 27, 2012 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born August 25th 1955 in Plaster Rock NB, Joyce was predeceased by her oldest son Joshua but survived by sons Patrick and Jesse, husband Rick, brothers David and Doug, sister Jane and her amazing girls Carly Tanya and Shayla. In lieu of flowers we invite you to make a donation to either the Prince George Hospice Society â€" Rainbows Program; or to the Canadian Cancer Society designated in support of the Kordyban Lodge in Joyce's name. Funeral service will be held at Immaculate Conception church on Saturday February 4th at 1pm.

Rick and sons...I knew Joyce from the Canadian Red Cross' RespectED program when we both started as Prevention Educators almost eight years ago. I was saddened by her death.
