Joyce Miller, age 85 of Homer passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at the V.A. Medical Center in Battle Creek, Michigan. He was born in 1927 to Green and Georgie Ann Miller in Waldo, Kentucky. In 1948 he married Loretta Risner who survives.

Joyce was in the Army during Korean conflict. He had worked for Union Steel for 30 years
before his retirement. He was an avid member of Christ Apostolic Church, he enjoyed
hunting, fishing, working on small engines, watching his grandkids play sports and just
being will all of his grandkids.

Joyce is survived by:
Wife- Loretta Miller of Homer
Daughters- Cheryl (Ralph) Connor of Martin, Tennessee
Roxanne Ellsworth of Homer
Sheila (Walt) Mansfield of Homer
Jill (Andrew) Richards of Pittsford
Son- Ron Miller of Homer
(14) Grandchildren
(50) Great Grandchildren
(4) Great Great Grandchildren
Sisters- Mary Rose Castle of Waldo, Kentucky
Eva Marie Bailey of Princeton, WVA

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, sisters, granddaughter Carolyn Connor and a great grandchild Sierra Ellsworth

Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, November 9, 2012 from 2:00-4:00 P.M. and 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, MI. 49224. Funeral Service will be Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 12:00 P.M. at the Christ Apostolic Church, 501 N. Superior Street, Albion, Michigan 49224 with Pastor David Trammell officiating. Burial will be at Albion Memory Gardens, Albion, Michigan.
