Mrs. Juanita Haney Wike, age 85 of McDonough, Georgia passed away May 17, 2017. She was born in Chamblee, Georgia to the late James Doyle and Lois Lord Haney, Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Lee Wike, Sr., son, Grady Lee Wike, Jr., siblings, Leartine Ford, Lillian Phillips, Mary Bobo, Margaret Gordon, Bobbie Rogers, James Haney, Willis Haney, Raymond Haney and Jerry Haney. She had worked for Georgia Tech and retired from Scott Exterminating. Juanita was a member of Sharon Baptist Church and loved her family, grandchildren and sisters. She was quick witted and had a great sense of humor. She enjoyed shopping at Belk’s, dining at Applebee’s, laying out in the sun, having “wing dings” with her family, gambling, and was known as a big hearted giver. Survivors include daughters, Wanda (Joe) Earnest of Jasper, Sheila (Mike) Mosher of McDonough; grandchildren, Candace Hall, Jason Wike, Benjamin Cox, Starla Snider, Amber Cochran, Brittany Coleman, Brady Wike, Darrell Warren, Dennis Greer and Debbie Hennings; great grandchildren, Camden Snider, Makenzie Cochran, Summer Mosher, Brooke Moats, Colton Hall, Macie Cochran, Grayson Hall, Leah Snider and Lee Coleman; sisters, Martha Morris of Virginia and Betty Jenkins of Buford. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2017 – 1:00 PM in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Joey Seabolt will officiate. Interment will follow in Eternal Hills Memory Gardens in Snellville. Friends may visit the family Monday from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Thank you for being the mother that you were teaching me always to be a person of honesty,& love thank you for believing In me when I couldn't believe in myself.
