COLUMBIA - Judith Anne Ringe, 78 joined her husband, Raymond Ringe in Heaven on June 17, 2017.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Hope Lutheran Church, 1400 Kennerly Road, Irmo, S.C., with Pastor Joseph Lindloff officiating.
Judith was born April 13, 1939 in Milwaukee, WI to Gerda Heinrich. She worked in the healthcare profession and was highly regarded by her employers, coworkers, and patients. After retiring, she volunteered at Sharing God's Love in Irmo and at Hope Lutheran Church, where she was an active member. As a a life-long believer of the Lutheran faith, she drew comfort and peace from the knowledge that she would one day meet our Lord and Savior. She enjoyed time spent in the outdoors and loved animals of all kinds, was an avid reader and a movie buff. One of her greatest joys in life was her family - her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sister Patti Koehne and husband Tom; her daughters Laurie Dobbe and husband Brian, Wendy Homar and husband Michael; grandchildren Denise Meggett and husband Larry, Derek Dobbe and wife Sarah, and Melanie Homar; her great grandchildren, Kody, Aaliyah, Sylvia, David, Kinsey, and Mariah; and her nephews Mathew and Ryan.
We will carry her memory forever in our hearts.

I knew Judy in grade school in Okauchee, WIS....We were fast friends and lost touch with each other. I tried to contact her several times, through an aunt and her daughter without any luck. I have many fond memories of Judy and her sister Patti. We met the first day of school in the 5th grade; we had both just moved to Okauchee. We graduated 8th grade and we both moved away...she to Milwaukee where she married Ray and I to Waukesha where I married. I will see her in Heaven one day.

I have thought of Judy, my dear friend for years many times lately, and just discovered today that she had passed. It had been a long time since we saw each other but had met for many breakfasts over the years after I dropped my children off for school. She was dear. Sincerely, Jane Chrysostom
