Judith Lynn (Siek) Ahern passed into eternal life on June 7, 2013. Judy was born in Denver, Colorado to William and Juanita Siek. She attended South High School and Arizona State University. She met the love of her life, Walter Ahern, when she was 17 years old while he was stationed at Lowry Air Force Base. They were married on June 17th 1960 and enjoyed 53 years of life together. Judy was a devoted wife and partner, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend-she maintained many deep relationships over her life.
She is survived by her husband, Walter; two sons, Kevin (Annie) and Chris (Tom); two grandchildren, Megan and John; her brother, Robert Siek; and many nieces and nephews; and grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Michael; her parents, William and Juanita; and her brother Bill. A private memorial service will be held in Colorado Springs. In lieu of flowers, Judy asked that donations be made to Tru Community Care Hospice in Lafayette, Colorado or First Lutheran Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Judy was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Walt, I didn't know Judy very long, but the time I spent with her on walks
and over coffee was special. She was so sweet and nice. She enjoyed
life and it's a shame that it had to end so soon. I wished I could have gotten to know her better and longer.

My condolences to Walt and your family. I remember what a fun time I would have at your house when I was a child. Judy was full of love and it was truly felt by me and my sisters when we would visit. I am so sorry for your loss and you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Kristen Lynn(Brown) (Gayle's daughter)
