Judith Dolores Buchholz Judy passed away on June 19th, 2012, and will be so missed by all those who loved and knew her. She was born on May 27th, 1942, in San Francisco, CA to David J. Antone and Pauline Antone. She was their first child, but they also had a son, Paul Antone, who died accidentally in 1968. As a family they moved to Marin when Judy was a very young girl, where she grew in to an amazing wife, mother and friend to so many. She graduated from San Rafael High School in 1960, and was married to her husband of 50+ years, Robert Buchholz, in 1961. They worked the family business, B & B Auto Parts in Corte Madera, and raised their family of five children in Novato. Judy taught her family to be strong, never stop believing in themselves and others, and to always keep going no matter what lay in front of them. Judy loved being with her friends, doing crafts, cooking and working in the community. She raised her family and worked alongside her husband until they retired in 2001. She loved being around people, so she worked part time at the Post Office inside Bell/Delano's Super Market in Novato, until she became ill in 2008. Judy is survived by her husband Robert and children Lisa (Mathew) Miller, Susan (Lance) Desmond, Paula (Erik) Andresen, David Buchholz and Bob(Peri) Buchholz, along with her grandchildren, Christopher and Katy Miller, Logan Desmond and Cooper Buchholz who will miss her terribly. A Memorial Service will be held on July 7th at 2:00 pm, at Unity in Marin, 600 Palm Drive, Hamilton Center, in Novato. The family is asking that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dr. Lawrence Kaplan Lymphoma Research Fund (Allocation:B2005). Checks can be made out to UCSF Foundation and sent to UCSF, P.O. Box 45339, SF, CA 94145 or online at www.makeagift.ucsf.edu/cancer
