Judy Valerie Knight Shannon, 66, of Pates Hill Road, Mosheim, passed away Friday, September 29, 2017, at her home.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Tree of Life Church.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Tracy Shannon and Dexter Polly; grandchildren: Alley Shannon, Matthew Holte, Jace Stowers, Channing Stowers, Samuel Polly, and Cora Polly; special brother and caregiver: Howard Steve Knight; four brothers: Bobby Knight, Dale Knight, Fred Knight, and Jesse Knight; two sisters: Shirley Turner and Olta (Lina) Knight; special first cousin: Danny Robinette; special nephews: Daniel and Lucas Knight; numerous nieces and nephews; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Nellie Mae Knight.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Tree of Life Church with Rev. Ralph Hensley, Rev. Jason McCoy, and Rev. Sonny Beaver officiating.
Family and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home to go in procession to the church.
Interment will follow in Jackson's Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Danny Robinette, Dexter Polly, Lucas and Daniel Knight, Jason Knight, and David Shannon.
Honorary pallbearers are William Babb and Freddie Henderson.

I can't think of Judy without remembering mother. She loved her nieces and nephews especially the Knight family.
How beautiful heaven must be now that another angel has gone home.
