Dear Jeanne, Jeff, John, and Jill, We are very sad to receive word of your Dad's passing away! Our time together was when we all got married. We had great times together until we moved up to Detroit area, and your Dad decided to stay in Indianapolis. We eventually moved on to California, but stayed in touch, when- ever we visited Indianapolis. We always received a letter from him in our Christmas card.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

To the family of Dick Garzon,

I first met your father/grandfather when we both played in the Zionsville Concert band. He took on the responsibility of band librarian and was so conscientious and on top of things. Later, I saw him when he was in the audience of several of the concerts of the flute choir I performed with.

Dick was soft-spoken and a sweet and kind man. He will be missed by me and those who knew him. My sincerest condolences.

My sincerest condolences to the family.

May the treasured memories of your loved one and the drawing close to Almighty God in prayer comfort and strengthen you during this most difficult time.

I was very sorry to hear that Dick had passed away. He was a long time member of our local Glass and Pottery club and was always most interesting to talk to. We will miss Dick at our meetings. Our condolences to his family.

I was notified of Dick's death last night and would have attended his funeral today except for a hearing appointment at 2 p.m. We became acquainted a number of years ago at Allison Gas Turbines and though we worked in different plants we visited occasionally and kept in touch. After I retired our contact became mostly at Christmas with an exchange of cards. Dick was always a respected friend. We shared a trip or two to Purdue-Minnesota ball games. He was always a pleasure to visit with, and I know how he missed Margie. He and the family will be in our prayers.

I noticed the obituary in the Star today and wanted to say that through the years I would see Dick and visit with him. Not so long ago he played in t he Horizon Band concert at Britton Falls and we had a good visit. Thank you for all of the good memories we have of your family from the Devington/Castleview days. We appreciated your family so much. It is hard to lose a father but I wish you the Lord's blessing as you go on in your parents footsteps. Tom & Rita Burke
