Julieta M. De La Vega, 94, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, three months short of her 95th birthday. A resident of El Paso, Texas all her life. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughters Graciela Ramos, Patricia De La Vega and granddaughter Celeste Garcia. Julieta is survived by her son Alex Jr.(wife Miriam) De La Vega, daughters Rosalie and Leticia De la Vega, and Brother Leo Montes Jr., also survived by her great grandchildren Graciela Marie, Claudia , Jacqueline, Isabel Ramos and Taylen, Myles De La Vega and great-great grandson Isaiah Matthew Ortega. She was a devoted mother and loving wife to her husband...
Julieta M. De La Vega, 94, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, three months short of her 95th birthday. A resident of El Paso, Texas all her life. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughters Graciela Ramos, Patricia De La Vega and granddaughter Celeste Garcia. Julieta is survived by her son Alex Jr.(wife Miriam) De La Vega, daughters Rosalie and Leticia De la Vega, and Brother Leo Montes Jr., also survived by her great grandchildren Graciela Marie, Claudia , Jacqueline, Isabel Ramos and Taylen, Myles De La Vega and great-great grandson Isaiah Matthew Ortega. She was a devoted mother and loving wife to her husband Alejandro De La Vega for 44yrs. She loved to bake, cook, sew and helped her mother Ines Montes with chores around the house. Pallbearers will be grandsons Antonio Ramos Jr., Alex De La Vega III, Adrian Garcia, Andrew De La Vega, Raphael Garcia and Aaron De La Vega. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Monday, June 30, 2014 at Martin Funeral Home Central with a 7:00pm vigil. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery on Zaragosa. Services entrusted to Funeraria Del Angel Martin Central 3839 Montana Ave. El Paso, Texas 79903 (915) 566-3955.
