STATESVILLE- June F. Fox, 83, passed away on December 19, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
Born February 4, 1934 in Iredell County, she was the daughter to the late Aaron Grant and Annie Garrison Frazier. She graduated from Harmony High. During WWII, June worked for Glenn L. Martin Aircraft Factory in Maryland for a brief time and then retired from JC Penny Distribution in Statesville after 45 years. She lived her life by the JC Penny golden rule. After retirement, she volunteered at Davis Regional Medical Center as a Sunshine Volunteer. June always greeted people with a warm, caring smile and was always kind to all.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Charles A. Fox Sr; sister, Evaline (Charlie) King; brother, Max Frazier and sister-in-law, Lou Dishman Frazier.
Left to cherish her loving memory are her children, Charles "Chuck" (Yvonne) Fox Jr., and Jackie Fox (Perry Walters); grandchildren, Shane (Beth) Thompson, Nichole (Paul) Koontz, Charles "Lonnie" Fox III, Jade (Keith) Wrenn, Sarah Walters and Lauren (Steven) Davis; great-grandchildren, Kael Alonzo Fox Cline, Bolton and Lawson Davis and Coleson Charles Wrenn; brother, Joseph Frazier; sister-in-law, Vickie Frazier; Charles' brothers, sister and spouses and many loving nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 1pm at Providence United Methodist Church with Pastor David Locke officiating.
The family will receive friends after the service in the fellowship hall.
The family would like to give a special thank you to The Grace Team Caregivers and Iredell County Hospice and Palliative Care for all the love and care they showed June.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for memorials to be sent to Providence UMC, 1273 Old Mocksville Road, Statesville, NC 28625 or Iredell County Hospice and Palliative Care, 2341 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625.
