June Bank Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 23, 2011.

June Lillian Bank (nee Knox)
1930 -2011
Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at the age of 80 years. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Bank (2000).
Loving and cherished mother of Susan of Kitchener, Sandra (Don) of Kitchener, Karen (Perry) of Honey Harbor, Jerry of Kitchener, and Tina (Steve) of Waterloo. Proud grandmother of 9 and great-grandmother of 12. Dear sister of, Shirley Post of Oakville and Judy (Frank Ecsedi) of Waterloo.
June joins in eternal rest her parents, John and Violet Knox and her son Bill, who predeceased her in 2001. She will be forever remembered as a dedicated and devoted mother, wife and friend. After her family, June's greatest enjoyment came from her favorite pastime, bingo.
Special thanks from June's family to Judy Martin of Guelph for all her help in caring for our mother in her time of need.
Cremation has taken place and in keeping with June's wishes a private interment will take place at a later date. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home (519)745-9495.

Miss me, but let me go
When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom filled room
Why cry for a soul set free
Miss me a little - but not too long
And not with your head bowed low
Remember the love that we once shared
Miss me - but let me go
For this is a journey that we must all take
And each must go alone
It's all a part of the Master's plan
A step on the road to home
When you are lonely, and sick of heart
Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds
Miss me - but let me go
