Justin Johnson Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 21, 2013.

Justin Randall Johnson 26, of Mckinleyville, passed away May 14th 2013.

He was born December 28th 1986 in Arcata, at Mad River Hospital. Justin grew up in Mckinleyville an enjoyed his time here. He attended Mckinleyville High School and graduated in 2005.

Justin thrived in high school and was proud of his many accomplishments. He played sports his entire life from early on in T ball, football and wrestling. Justin was a great wrestler and he won many awards, ribbon, and metals for his performance.

Justin had the biggest smile and a heart of gold. He would befriend anyone no matter what their circumstance and to him no one was ever a stranger. Justin loved spending time with his childhood friends, they ran the neighborhood trying to find any kind of trouble they could to get into. He enjoyed fishing and spending time at the river.

When Justin's brother Adam Johnson was born he was always by his side. He loved his little brother and would always protect him.

Justin's proudest accomplishment in his life was the birth of his son, Cael Randall Garcia Johnson, March 10th , 2010. He loved his son with his whole heart and he was the twinkle in Justin's eye. The love, joy, an adoration that Justin felt for his son was indescribable.

He is survived by his parents Sandy & Daniel Mckay of Mckinleyville; his father Emery Johnson, of Eureka; younger brother Adam Johnson of Mckinleyville; his son Cael Randall Garcia Johnson of Mckinleyville.

Also he is survived by loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. He is joining his loved ones in heaven; Grandmother, Carol Johnson of Mckinleyville; Grandfather, Mike Jeffrey of Washington; Aunt, Charlene Settles of Manila; Aunt, Candy Clark of Iowa. Justin will be missed by many.

A service will be held Thursday May 23rd @ 12:00pm at Paul's Chapel in Arcata Ca. All our welcome to attend.

Justin was my son's friend,as Robert would say his bro. He thought of Justin and your family as family. I remember the day my son was excited to head off to the pipeline with Justin and his dad. I thought sure why not, not knowing for how long and so far away. but robert has had some great stories to share about the jobs the boys have worked on together since right out of high school. My prayers are with you Dan and Sandy.

Dan, Sandy, Emery, and Adam, I am so sorry to hear about Justin. I can remember many times when he was with Luke at the house, he would make it a point to come in and say hello to me with a big grin on his face. His smile was infectious and warm, and before you knew it, you were smiling right along with him. I will always see him walking through the field to Luke's house, with Adam not far behind. I hope you can find some peace as time goes on, as my heart breaks for all of you. You are all in our thoughts and prayers, Gina Black-Langdon
