My sympathy to the family of Karl Klingler. I did not know him personally, but stopped by his little shop on Calhoun St, when I worked downtown in the early 2000s. He would be 1 yr older than my dad, who grew up in Fort Wayne (Freiburgers); Dad, Ken gone in 1998. Both served during WWII.
Karl seemed to be a remarkable man, from all I have learned. And I see he was a man of faith. God rest his soul, and Lord please grant his loved ones peace. -Caroline Freiburger Dewey

Karl was one of the nicest gentlemen I've ever met. I was a customer in his store and waited on his bowling team some 30+ years ago. Prayers & thoughts of comfort to his family.

I'm very saddened to hear of Karl's passing. He was the last of a great group of friends that included my parents, Mary and Butch Kohrman. He was a wonderful man with a wonderful family. May you all enjoy the happy memories he provided!
