Karl R. May, 82, of Arlington Heights was born January 3, 1931 in Wheatfield, Indiana, and passed away peacefully January 18, 2013 in Arlington Heights surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Carolyn J May, nee Cleary; loving father of Carolyn Debbie May, and the late Juanita Bonnie May; and cherished grandfather of Kelly (Kevin) Buchholz. Karl was a Marine Corp veteran and a member of the American Legion. He retired from American Airlines after 50 years, as a crew chief. Visitation Sunday 2-8 pm at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Hwy, Arlington Heights, IL, 60004. Prayers will be said Monday, 9:15 am at the funeral home, proceeding to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL, for a funeral Mass at 10 am. Interment will be in Maryhill Cemetery.

My sister Kris called me last night and said that she saw Mr. May's obituary in the newspaper. I am so sorry for your lost. I can only imagine the grief and sadness you are experiencing at this time. Please accept my condolences. You are both in my thoughts and prayers.
