We were privileged to serve along side Mrs. Katy at Judson. Her servant heart impacted so many for her Lord. Her longevity and faithfulness in ministry is remarkable. May God's grace abound. Pastor Rob and Debbie Jones

Dear Katy, my partner in crime at WSCN. You were tireless in helping everyone. I will forever remember the little bubblegum birthday cakes for the nursing students, the candy jar you kept filled, and the love and laughter you shared. My dear friend, I miss you.

Thank you to those from the Riverside Library who became her work family. She loved being there & her "adventures" emptying the outside book drop.

Kathy,Janice,Samantha & John: never doubt how much she loved you all. You were the center of her universe. May God comfort you.

I was sad to hear of the passing of Katy. I knew her from working with her at West Suburban School of Nursing(1987-1992) Such a sweet, loving woman- always so welcoming, encouraging and above all, fun. For such a little woman, she had the biggest heart. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her...my prayers go out to her children. God bless.

I knew Katy from the Riverside Public Library and I know Sherilyn Monkemeier (another writer for this Guest Book) from the public library in Western Springs, so I'd like to "take a page from that book" and say how wonderful Katy was when we worked together, with her wit and kindness. My sympathy to all her human and feline friends and family.

Thanks, Sherilyn.. she loved the West Sub students and faculty! (Are you Laurilyn's sister?)

Katy was a wonderful friend and mentor to me in my early 20's at West Sub, where we worked together in the office. She loved to laugh, and genuinely cared for people. My sympathies to you, Kathy and Janice and John. She was so proud of you. I'm so glad to know that I will see her again in Jesus' presence.
