Katherine was born and raised in Scranton Pennsylvania, on July 7, 1927 to Thomas J Mosley and Anna Williams.
Katherine graduated from Technical High School in 1945, where she was part of the band. She went to work at the Eureka Plant for a few years. She then joined the US Army in 1948 and was a charter member of the WAC Band stationed at Ft. Lee, VA. It was there she met & married her husband Leslie. Military life took the family to numerous locations, the last one being Ft. Bliss, located in El Paso, TX. Katherine lived here for 50 yrs. Katherine was a homemaker and along the way always was involved in something outside the home. She loved horseback riding, music and was part of the Sweet Adeline's and choir at church. Katherine was a volunteer with the American Red Cross at Wm. Beaumont Army Medical Center for 29 years where she worked in the Orthopedic Clinic and the Pharmacy (refill). Katherine continued to show all of us what is most important in this short journey we are on, faith and love for others and above all love of God.

Cindy, thoughts are with you in the loss of your mother. What an interesting life she had! I knew you had a military family but did not realize your mom had joined the Army too and was in the WAC Band.
I know you miss her terribly, but take comfort in the fact that she was a woman of faith and is now at peace with the Saviour. Love and prayers to you.

Memories of a beautiful lady. Katherine has played a role in my life since 1958 acting not only as a substitute mother, but a friend and adviser. As kids we grew up together, Katherine or Mrs. McAllister as I called her was a giving, kind woman helped shape the foundation of my youth. Years have passed since we have visited, but you were not forgotten. God has opened his arms and called for Katherine to join him. Mrs. McAllister was truly loved and will be missed.

My deepest sympathy in the loss of your mom and grandma. Katherine was a beautiful lady who loved the Lord with all her mind, body, and soul. Now she can sing with the angels and the other Sweet Adeline's in heaven. With deep sympathy, Mike and Jan McMullen
