Kathleen (Kathy) Michelle Adkison went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at the age of 53. Kathy was born on March 28, 1957 in Los Angeles, CA. Kathy and David Adkison were married for 32 wonderful years and have lived in Tulare/Visalia since 1988. Kathy was a wonderful, kindhearted woman who loved her family very much. She loved reading, watching movies with her grandkids, playing games on Sunday afternoons with her family and going on vacations with her husband. She was always looking forward to her next trip to Omaha, NE to visit her son, daughter-in-law and 2 grandsons. She could never get enough of her grandkids, she loved being surrounded by them.
Kathy is survived by her husband, David L. Adkison of Visalia, CA, her parents, Pansy and Richard Ozenbaugh of Checotah, OK and Ronald Pond of West Covina, CA, her grandmother, Sedona Elardo of Checotah, OK, a son and daughter-in-law, David M. and Katie Adkison of Omaha, NE, a daughter and son-in-law, Tamara and Richard Navarrette of Visalia, CA, two granddaughters, Madison and Brooke Navarrette, two grandsons, Jackson and Cooper Adkison with another granddaughter expected this October. Kathy is also survived by two sisters, Pamela Pratt and Candice Puthawala and three brothers, Ronald, Ryan and Tyler Pond. She is also survived by her in-laws Fred and Donna Adkison of Exeter, CA.
Kathy's life will be celebrated with a memorial service and luncheon at 11:00 on Saturday September 4th at Vineyard Christian Fellowship 554 S. Blackstone St., Tulare, CA. 93274

Kathy was my best friend for as long as I can remember , she was always there for me when I needed her . We shared so many good times and so many laughs , she was there when my daughter was born and loved having her there every summer till Val had babies of her own . I remember seeing and visiting with Kathy and all of her family at our family reunions every summer. Its been a while since I have seen her. I was on Checotak to see family but just after she had left. So I missed seeing her then. I love you Kathy and you will always be in my heart.
