LOUDON - Kathleen Ann (Flynn) Drake, 61, of Loudon passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 29, 2012 with her loving family by her side, after a courageous five year battle with cancer. Kathy was born in Peterborough on April 13, 1951, the eldest child of Robert Paul Flynn and Lorraine Rita Cabana. She was a graduate of Hillsboro-Deering High School, graduating with honors. Kathy was employed by the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services. She previously owned and operated Kathy's Cleaning. LOUDON - Kathleen Ann (Flynn) Drake, 61, of Loudon passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 29, 2012 with her loving family by her side, after a courageous five year battle with cancer. Kathy was born in Peterborough on April 13, 1951, the eldest child of Robert Paul Flynn and Lorraine Rita Cabana. She was a graduate of Hillsboro-Deering High School, graduating with honors. Kathy was employed by the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services. She previously owned and operated Kathy's Cleaning. She enjoyed riding her Harley, Boston sports, NASCAR, her pets and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed her trips to Aruba and Barbados with her husband, Steve. Kathy was a member of the Concord HOG Chapter. Her laughter, contagious smile and quick wits will be deeply missed. She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Steven Drake of Loudon; her daughters Stacy Colby of Lee and Tracy Colby of Hampton, VA; and her grandchildren Karen Mitchell of Henniker and R Tyler Bechtle of Lee. She is also survived by her mother, Lorraine Cabana of Hillsborough; one brother, Michael Flynn and his wife Mary of Granite Falls, NC; and three sisters Kandace Wafer and her husband James of Eagle River, AK; Kristen Beals and her husband Grant of Eagle River, AK; and Kelly D'Errico and her husband Robert of Hillsborough; her niece and god-child Deviroux D'Errico; her niece, Summer Flynn; and her nephews Christopher Whitcomb and his wife Shayna; and Jason Holmes. She was pre-deceased by her father, Robert Flynn; a sister, Karen Flynn and a nephew, Kory Hays.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, May 1 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Bennett Funeral Home, 3 Church Street, (The Brick Building), Concord. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 2 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
