Kathryn Mac Breaux, age 97, of Beaumont, TX passed away on Thursday October 19, 2017. Kathryn was born December 29, 1919 in Port Arthur, Texas to Lawrence and Helen Burch.
Kathryn graduated from South Park High School in 1936 and served her country as a "Rosie the Riveter" during WWII. She has never driven a car and liked her hamburgers with mustard - no mayo with a Dr. Pepper.
Kathryn is survived by; daughters Kathy Rascoe and her husband Billy Joe of Kountze, Joy McCroskey and her husband John of Coldspring; sons, Larry Breaux and his wife Sissie of Cheek, Randy Breaux of Beaumont, Mark Breaux of Beaumont; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter.
A funeral service for Kathryn will be held Monday, October 23, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will occur Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A burial will occur at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, TX 77703.
