George and Cheryl Carson

I have some great memories of Kathy beginning with working at Novacare. I remember her wearing a wig and Derek making her take off the wig exposing the softest hair I have ever felt on someones head! We worked together for over ten years. Kathy was the most dependable employee I ever had work for and with me. We developed a great friendship as Kathy and Bill spent many saturdays getting their haircut by my wife, Bill cutting trees. The "lets have a beer before you go" always turned into many many more!! I could never satisfy Kathy with the ham and cheese omeletes I made so hopefully the chef in heaven has your back! You will be greatly missed, can't wait to yell "Kathy, Kathy!! when we meet again. George

I met Kathy, of course through George, Kathy was one of those few people you meet in life who you make friends with so easily. She was so warm, kind, and funny! I remember camping together, The Great Turtle Race on Mackinaw Island. The many times at our home, or at Kathy and Bills!. She was one of the Bravest Women I have ever had the privilege of knowing.
I will miss you.

Aunt Kathy, when I look back on my childhood, you were always there. You bought me my first bike, you dropped me on my head when I was little (which explains a lot) :) you're the reason I love dolphins, all our vacations up north...I will never ever forget all the memories we have together. You'd let me get away with things my mom wouldn't, and played a big part in the person I am today. I've always wanted to be just like you, so full of life. When asked what I loved most about my childhood, my answer has always been you and the family. We were always so close that I wouldn't even think of calling you anything but "aunt" Kathy. It's terrible that you were taken from us so soon, but now you can rest in peace. The hardest thing to do is say goodbye to someone who has had such a huge impact on you...I'm just waiting for the day I get to see you again. I know you're up there watching over all of us. Not a day will go by that I won't think of and miss you. You will always have a spot in my heart...thank you for being such an amazing woman and inspiration. I love you so much Aunt Kathy <3
