Biography

Kathryn M. Shehan Bishop 57, of Taylorsville, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church and All Saints of Taylorsville; former Business Processor Coordinator for LG&E, and a Metro United Way Loaned Executive.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her father James Shehan.

Survivors include her loving husband of 24 years Larry Bishop; children Kristina Holbrook (Mason), Jessica Schulte (T.J.), and Jacob Bishop (Jamie); mother Jean Shehan; brothers Ron Shehan (Connie) and Dan Shehan (Barbara); sister Sandy Wade (Rob); grandchildren Gwyneth, Evelyn, and Vivian Schulte.

Her funeral mass will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday at St. Rita Catholic Church, 8709 Preston Hwy. Burial Bardstown City Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 1-8 P.M. at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Okolona.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation.
