Kathryn "Kate" M. Bordner (88) of Attica, died Thursday, March 20, 2014 at her home. She was born June 10, 1925 in Republic to the late Floyd and Luella (Shontz) Hensinger. Mrs. Bordner was employed for 35 years at Midwest Industries as a bookkeeper. She was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Huron County Ladies Sherriff Posse and Lazy Aces Saddle Club. She enjoyed Knitting, crocheting cross stitch, being on the computer and family gatherings. Mrs. Bordner is survived by her husband: Ray Bordner whom she married March 31, 1945. Daughter: Susan M. Mrs. Bordner is survived by her husband: Ray Bordner whom she married March 31, 1945. Daughter: Susan M. Green of Attica, Daughter-in-law: Sis Stockmaster of Attica. 5 grandchildren: Matt Green, Dawn Bordner, and Chris (Tracy) Bordner, all of Attica, Mike Green of Toledo, and Tracy (Mike) Sipe of Shelby. 6 Great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son: David Bordner, brothers: John and Jim Hensinger, sisters: Barbara Hampshire and Dorothy Herrin and son-in-law: Jim Green and Bernie Stockmaster.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM. Monday, March 24, 2014 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Attica with Pastor Edward Hunker officiating. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 295 W. Tiffin Street, Attica. Burial will be in the Attica-Venice Twp Cemetery, Attica. Memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice, Attica EMS or AVR through the funeral home.
