Obituary

Kathryn A. Hallmann, 51, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, the daughter of David R. Hallmann, M.D. and the late Patricia (Gately) Hallmann, she had been a resident of Somerville, MA and most recently lived in South Dartmouth. Kathy was a graduate of the Mary C. Wheeler School in Providence and Tufts University. She was employed in the Accounting Department at Harvard University for several years. Kathy enjoyed tennis, skiing, golfing, reading and loved animals and gardening. In addition to her father, she is survived by her siblings, Patty Sweriduk and her husband...
Kathryn A. Hallmann, 51, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital.

Born in Providence, Rhode Island, the daughter of David R. Hallmann, M.D. and the late Patricia (Gately) Hallmann, she had been a resident of Somerville, MA and most recently lived in South Dartmouth.

Kathy was a graduate of the Mary C. Wheeler School in Providence and Tufts University.

She was employed in the Accounting Department at Harvard University for several years.

Kathy enjoyed tennis, skiing, golfing, reading and loved animals and gardening.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her siblings, Patty Sweriduk and her husband Stephen, Jr. of Dartmouth, Leslie Frey and her husband Michael of Pawtucket and David M. Hallmann of Warren; her nephews, John Sweriduk and Stephen Sweriduk, III of Dartmouth and Michael Frey of Pawtucket; her niece, Christine Mitchell and her husband Guy of No. Attleboro; and her great nephew, Gavin Mitchell of No. Attleboro.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, September 16, 2013 from 8-10am in the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Dartmouth, 230 Russells Mills Rd., Dartmouth followed by her funeral mass at 10:30am in St. Mary's Church, 783 Dartmouth St., Dartmouth. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Humane Society and Shelter-Southcoast, 31 Ventura Dr., Dartmouth, MA 02747.
