Kath was born in Ireland, raised in Cambridge, and has travelled ever since, with her family and then on her own, coast to coast in Canada. She enjoyed a successful professional career as a property manager for Morguard Properties, working at locations from Victoria to North Bay and points in between.

Kath was always generous with her time for family, friends and community. Relay for Life, North Bay Blooms, and the Chamber of Commerce are just a few of the recent activities she participated in. A long time Rotarian she was involved in many projects including humanitarian trips to Mexico and Peru to distribute needed supplies, and was named North Bay Rotarian of the year in 2010.

Kath had a big heart. A free spirit. She really loved to laugh. We will all miss her dearly.

Friends will be received at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, February 17, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.. Funeral Service will be held from the Coutts Chapel on Friday, February 18, 2011 at 11 a.m..

Donations to Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation MRI fund in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.
